For the last couple of years, I've been laboring (sometimes more often than not) under the notion that the IM community was interested in low-distribution, high quality PLR material. It seems I was mistaken. Though I've pretty much had it packed in for several months now, I'm making it official as of now. Well, yes, you can. I freely admit it. In the past, I did as well, though all of these products cost me a lot more in wasted time and effort in the long run. As a result of trying to read this incoherent nonsense, your customer clicks away rather than to your site. So even though customers may see the article, they won't be clicking through to your page. Was the material high quality? Well, the marketer claimed it was written by a high school English teacher (not exactly a ringing endorsement), but it was hard to say by this just how good the material really was. Assuming that it was all that he claimed, why was it so cheap? The answer? The marketer was selling 1,000 (you read that correctly - one thousand!) copies! On further reflection, I wondered why I would want to pay a monthly membership with no scheduled update of materials. Wouldn't it be better to buy what I wanted, when I wanted it, having some idea of whether or not I could use it? Oh, and to add insult to injury, once you cancelled your membership (that is, quit paying them), you were no longer licensed to use the material and had to take down any sites where you had used it.
